Meet our editors.
Six editors, six desks. Everyone here tests in their own home, on their own time, in the categories they actually care about.
Erin Wallace
Editor-in-Chief
Erin Wallace is a New York–based editor and product journalist with more than 14 years of experience in consumer journalism. Her work spans wellness, food, technology and everyday products, with a particular focus on evidence-led consumer advice and testing methodology. Erin is especially interested in products built around ambitious claims. Her approach starts by separating what a brand promises from what can actually be tested, researched and experienced in everyday use. She believes the best consumer advice makes complicated decisions easier without pretending they are simple.
Olivia Grant
Senior Editor, UK & European Style
Olivia Grant is a London-based style and lifestyle editor with eight years of experience covering fashion, beauty and consumer trends across the UK and Europe. Her reviews focus less on runway appeal and more on what products are actually like to own — how lingerie fits after several hours, whether flowers arrive looking like the photograph, how materials age and whether an expensive wardrobe piece earns its price. She has a particular interest in European labels, fit, construction and the small details that separate a good purchase from a disappointing one.
Lukas Weber
Senior Editor, DACH Tech & Home
Lukas Weber is a Berlin-based technology and home editor covering the DACH market in German and English. With a background in product development and nine years of hands-on review experience, he approaches testing as a combination of measurement and long-term observation. His coverage ranges from smart-home equipment and appliances to mobility, ergonomics and maker technology. Lukas prefers repeatable tests over first impressions and is particularly interested in the small design decisions that determine whether a product remains useful after the novelty wears off.
Sofía Ramírez
Editor, Latin America
Sofía Ramírez is a Mexico City–based travel and consumer editor covering Latin America through a local-first lens. For more than six years, she has written about destinations, booking platforms, shopping and everyday travel logistics across Mexico and the wider region. She pays close attention to the things international guides often miss: local payment methods, transport realities, regional pricing, Spanish-language customer support and what happens when plans change. For Sofía, useful travel writing begins where the brochure ends.
Daniel Tan
Editor, Asia-Pacific
Daniel Tan is a Singapore-based travel and lifestyle editor covering Asia-Pacific, with a particular interest in how services change from one market to another. Over seven years of regional reporting, he has reviewed booking platforms, transport, retail, fitness and travel experiences across Southeast Asia, Australia and East Asia. Daniel tests services in context whenever possible — booking the ticket, taking the route, visiting the store and dealing with the app himself. He is especially interested in the friction points global brands overlook when operating across Asian markets.
Marcus Hill
Senior Product Reviewer, Consumer Tech
Marcus Hill is a Seattle-based product reviewer with more than ten years of experience working with consumer hardware. He specialises in computing, cameras, gaming, audio, smart-home products and creator technology. His reviews combine repeatable benchmarks with deliberately ordinary use — unreliable Wi-Fi, long workdays, crowded desks and firmware updates included. Marcus is less interested in whether a product can produce an impressive number once than whether it can deliver consistently when someone actually depends on it.
