Affiliate disclosure.
The short version: when you buy through links on this site, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Here's the long version.
The plain version
AffluencerHub is a reader-supported publication. When you buy something through a link on our site, we may earn a commission from the retailer. It doesn't add anything to what you pay, and it doesn't change what we recommend.
Amazon Associates
AffluencerHub is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.
How affiliate commissions work
When we recommend a product, the link often carries a tracking parameter that tells the retailer we sent you. If you buy — sometimes right away, sometimes within a tracking window — the retailer pays us a small commission out of their own margin. You pay the same price you would have paid otherwise.
Not every link on our site is a commission link. Reference links to competitors, source material, or manufacturer pages usually aren't. When a link is affiliated, we tag it for search engines with rel="sponsored nofollow" — that's standard practice and it's how we signal the relationship to Google.
Does this affect what we recommend?
No — and we've built our workflow so the answer stays no:
- Selection first, links second. We pick what to cover before we look at commission rates. Editorial doesn't see the payout math.
- "Best of" isn't "biggest payer." A product that pays us more doesn't win a spot. A product that pays us zero can still win, and often does.
- Cons stay in the review. If we found something bad, we write it in — even when it's the recommended product.
Programs we participate in
Beyond Amazon Associates, we participate in general affiliate networks that connect publishers to a wide range of retailers. We don't list every retailer here because the list changes; if you want to know whether a specific link is affiliated, just ask us.
